Résumé : Il y a deux mille ans, la planète Nim a subi la pire catastrophe de son histoire. Depuis, les descendants des peuples anciens survivent sur de rares sommets émergés qui composent le Continent Archipel.
Sur Nim, chacun a un don, mais seule une poignée de privilégiés en possède un puissant, appelé majeur. Les autres ne sont que de la main-d’œuvre au service de l’humanité.
Abandonnés à l’orphelinat de Fontfroid, Gaspard, Cédric, Kateira et Archibald, quatre dons mineurs, ont décidé de prendre leur destin en main et de fuir les brumes cauchemardesques de madame Batonsec, la directrice. Avec l’arrivée de Leen, mystérieuse pensionnaire, leur plan d’évasion va être bousculé. En effet, celle-ci détient un secret capital qui pourrait changer la face du monde.

Summary (spoiler alert if you haven't read book 1!) : The Children of the Condor are in grave danger! The soldiers of Razel, the terrible ruler of the Northern Lands, have captured them, and the enemy now holds the only hope of saving the Archipelago Continent: Leen and her Dawn graft. Fortunately, the five teenagers are not alone and will be aided in their quest by a most unexpected ally. Plunged into the heart of Nim and its forgotten secrets, Leen and her friends still have much to learn about their world. Now, they have a new objective: to develop their gifts to face Razel on equal terms. The fight against the forces of evil and Dark energy promises to be even more difficult than they had imagined. And it cannot be won without sacrifices…
